Dr Madison began his studies in psychology in 1979. Across decades of practice, he has engaged with many schools of psychological thought. These diverse and sometimes conflicting perspectives reveal how much we still have to learn — about psychology, and about living. Each person teaches us something essential about the shared dilemmas of existence.

Greg’s therapeutic approach is exploratory, gently acknowledging the full range of possibilities in life while respecting the choices that each individual makes. Clients are encouraged to speak freely — without censoring what they feel or think — allowing genuine insight to emerge.

In both his clinical and academic work, Dr. Madison values the cognitive, emotional, embodied, behavioural, and relational dimensions of each person’s experience. This therapy becomes a way to deepen self-awareness and to live with greater sensitivity and meaning.

Greg has worked with people facing anxiety, depression, loss, relationship and family challenges, professional stress, existential questions, and the search for meaning. Increasingly, he offers reflective spaces to explore our human responses to artificial intelligence and the rapid technological and social transformation of our world.

He is also an accredited mediator, senior lecturer, registered clinical supervisor, author, and trainer offering advanced professional development to experienced practitioners.
